In case such intrigues, my wee novels white (2007) and Missing Persons (2009), both published by the late, great Toronto publisher The Mercury Press, have been available only through me for some time now. $15 each [$5 for shipping within Canada; $7 for United States; $12 international]. Either paypal or e-transfer [rob_mclennan (at) hotmail (dot) com], or the paypal donate button on the sidebar of this site. Just make sure to add your address, in case you do order (not everyone does, which makes shipping not actually possible). There are threads from that second novel that flow directly into certain stories within On Beauty, as well as the current novel-in-progress (and even some further short stories), which is a curious thing, indeed. I did not imagine I’d be nearly three decades writing the same character across multiple projects, certainly.
I think copies of my pandemic-era essay/memoir, essays in the face of uncertainties (Mansfield Press, 2022) are still available (but I honestly can’t say with full confidence), but I do have copies of that, also, for $18 (plus shipping). I know you already know how to order copies of On Beauty (University of Alberta Press, 2024), directly from the publisher. Did you know I’ve already a follow-up short story collection completed?
