rob mclennan: Author of a dozen poetry collections, most recently name, an errant (Exeter England: Stride, 2006) & aubade (Fredericton NB: Broken Jaw Press, 2006).

Barry Webster 's The Sound of All Flesh (Porcupine's Quill) has just won the Relit Prize for best collection of Canadian short fiction of 2005. Stories have also been short listed for the National Magazine Award.

S. E. Venart writes poetry & prose. She teaches creative writing & literature at John Abbott College. Her first collection comes out fall 2007 with Brick Books. A chapbook, Neither Apple Nor Pear, is available from Junction Press.

John Brooke has won the Journey Prize and the CBC/QWF Short Fiction competition. Inspector Aliette Nouvelle conducts investigations into life's mysteries in an unnamed city on the edge of France.

Virginia McClure: Author of two poetry books, The Voice Of Two Women & Green Jelly Beans. Co-founder of the Visual Arts Centre; accomplished artist, potter & painter, she turned to poetry after the death of her son.

Joanne Grant: Poet & author. Accomplished professional cellist and teacher. Has performed with orchestras across Canada & performs regularly as a member of the duo Jai.
