mother's day; in the way of thanks,

Here's a picture of my dear mother, from a year or so ago, and another, below, from even earlier (yes, that's me in the picture, too). Despite whatever complicated relationship we may have, a thanks to her, and other mothers too (including mother of my dear Kate, and my sister, mother of her own tumbling three). What would any of us do without mothers?
