"Ottawa dithers on poet laureate," The Ottawa Citizen

Peter Simpson in The Ottawa Citizen wrote an interesting article on the idea of an Ottawa poet laureate, and even quoted an article I wrote on same about four years ago, here. Really, why is it that everyone has them now, and we had them (in Canada) first, somehow ending up with the only (seemingly) geography now without?
